One of the most important measures in treatment of

Its good to exercise but avoid using heavy weights as it puts pressure on your abdominal region.

Maintaining a proper hygiene includes cleanin of the anus with water after you pass your stool. Ensuring the anus is properly cleaned.

Tub Bath

Bathing in a tub for 20 minutes with warm water can relieve the condition.

Surgery

You resort to surgery when the condition is not manageable anymore.

Alternative Medicines

There has been a good success in healing hemorrhoid symptoms with alternative healing methods like ayurveda and homeopathy. Even in cases where a surgery is suggested before you go under the knife try ayurvedic or homeopathic medicines. It works and am saying it from personal experience.

Overall hemorrhoid no matter how discomforting it may sound, can be managed by following proper diet, exercise and also experimenting with what aggravates the problem.
